The Koshiki-no-Kata refer to the kata of the Kito-Ryu of Jujutsu which Jigoro Kano Shihan studied before founding Kodokan Judo.
The Koshiki-no-Kata are based on the Throwing techniques executed by armor-clad warriors on the battle field. There are 14 Omote and 7 Ura forms. |
