Katame-waza consist of Osaekomi-waza, Shime-waza and Kansetsu-waza. Nage-waza and Katame-waza are like the two sides of a singlecoin . In order to improve your judo, it's important that you practice both. Katame-waza can be combined with Nage-waza to carry out a continuous attack. The possibilities are limitless, and so are the possibilities for continuing on from an Osaekomi-waza to a Shime-waza or Kansetsu-waza, or from a Shime-waza to a Kansetsu-waza. By mastering Katame-waza, you will be able to enter a whole new dimension in judo. This video will deepen your understanding and interest in Katame-waza and help improve your judo. |
